"In Kittsee, the largest apricot tree community, some apricot trees are suffering from the terrible Monilia disease, in addition to the current dramatic drought associated with climate change. It causes the shoot tips to die and is therefore also called tip blight. This old, weakened tree is trying to hold on to its life.
